Visitors to Langhorne during the holiday season are invited to experience the Holiday House Tour, a beloved tradition organized by the Four Lanes End Garden Club. Founded in 1957, the club was created to promote gardening, floral design, and community involvement, and over the years it has become an important part of the townโs cultural life.
During the Holiday House Tour, several private homes in Langhorne are opened to the public for a self guided visit. Each residence is carefully decorated for the season by Garden Club members, with festive floral arrangements, fresh greenery, and holiday displays designed to complement the style and history of each home. Many of the houses included in the tour are historic properties within the Langhorne community, allowing guests to enjoy both seasonal decorations and the character of the townโs architecture. Furthermore, guests can savor tea and homemade cookies at the Middletown Country Club, as well as explore handcrafted items available at the Country Store located within the Richardson House.
The event is also the Garden Clubโs largest annual fundraiser. Proceeds help support community beautification projects, maintenance of the historic Richardson House, and scholarships and charitable programs that benefit the local community. Through this long standing holiday tradition, the Four Lanes End Garden Club welcomes visitors to experience the charm, history, and warm hospitality of Langhorne during the festive season.
