Think about applying for a scholarship for the
2027-2028 school year!


Scholastic Scholarship Requirements

Four Lanes End Garden Club is pleased to be able to offer two (2) scholarships in the amount of $4,000 each. Requirements are as follows:

  1. Scholarships are available to any student in good academic standing who is from Bucks County, PA.
  2. Applicants must major in Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Design, Botany, Forestry, Agriculture,
    Conservation, Plant Pathology, Environmental Science, or other related Earth Sciences.
  3. Applications may be computer-generated.
  4. The following materials must be submitted in one complete packet: Application form, personal letter,
    two (2) letters of recommendation, and an official transcript.
  5. Scholarships will be dispersed directly to the recipientโ€™s College or University โ€“ $2,000.00 at the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters.
  6. Applications are due no later than April 30th, 2027.

Floral Certification Scholarship

An Additional Scholarship will be offered this year to be used for Floral Certification. A floral arranging certification can be earned locally through Bucks County Community College in Newtown, PA, which partners with the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) to offer a direct path to becoming a Certified Floral Designer. Up to $1,000.00 will be offered for this scholarship. It would be disbursed directly to Bucks County Community College โ€“ upon verification of enrollment in its Core Design classes.

    two (2) letters of recommendation.’
  2. Applicationsย are due no later than April 30th, 2027.

SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS FOR THE 2026-27 ACADEMIC YEAR

Samuel Hewish graduated from Neshaminy High School in 2026 and will be attending Washington College, majoring in Biochemistry. His intended career path is related to the field of Biochemistry.

Calvin Madia has been attending Bucks County Community College and will be continuing his studies there, majoring in Environmental Science with a minor in Environmental Science. His intended career is to become a Researcher and Manager of Ecological Restoration.
