2025 – “A Cavalcade of America”

In 2025, the FLEGC presented our Small Standard Flower Show, “A Cavalcade of America.” As the theme of our show implied, the design classes reflected the dreams, courage, initiative, and achievements of those that went before us making history or our United States of America. While visiting our show, our visitors were invited to imagine the triumph of the human spirit against all odds, as well as the patriotism and self-reliance of our predecessors, as they viewed the floral designs displayed. The design division included, “Thirteen Colonies,” a crescent design in an antique container using spring flowers, “Alaska Composition,” a vertical arrangement using all white fresh plant material, “Desert Oasis,” the designer’s choice using cacti and or succulents, and lastly “The BostonTea Party,” the designer’s choice of fresh plant material on a functional table set for two, suggesting refreshments at a tea. A division also included several classifications of Horticulture entries .
